Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sourwood Labs LLC ("Sourwood Labs," "we," "us") collects across our browser extensions, tools, and website — and what we do with it. The short version is on purpose:

What our browser extensions access

Our extensions are built to request the narrowest set of permissions needed to do their job, and to run locally in your browser wherever possible.

• Local storage. Extensions store your settings and preferences (and, where applicable, data you explicitly save, such as a saved list) in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not upload this to our servers.
• No page content or browsing history. Our extensions do not read, transmit, or store the content of the web pages you visit, your browsing history, or your keystrokes outside the extension's own interface.
• Data you paste in. Some tools (for example, a JSON formatter) process text you deliberately paste into the extension. That processing happens entirely on your device; the text is not sent to us.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand which features are used and to fix problems, an extension may send a small amount of anonymous, aggregate usage data — for example, that a feature was opened or that the extension was installed. This never includes the content you work with, the pages you visit, or anything that identifies you personally. Where we use analytics, it is limited to the extension's own functionality and disclosed on the extension's store listing.

Payments

When you purchase a premium feature, payment is processed by our payment providers, Stripe and ExtensionPay. Your card details are entered directly with them and are handled under their own privacy and security terms — Sourwood Labs never sees or stores your full payment card information. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase was made and the associated account identifier needed to unlock your features.

Our website

This website is a simple informational site. It does not require an account, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of visitors.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our products.
• To process purchases and unlock premium features.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above who help us operate (such as our payment processors), or where required by law.

Data retention & your choices

Settings stored locally in your browser remain until you clear them or uninstall the extension. You can uninstall any Sourwood Labs extension at any time to stop all data processing by it. For questions about data associated with a purchase, contact us and we'll help.

Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
